Ray Henderson is the founder of Real Tax Pro Academy and brings over 15 years of tax preparation and accounting experience. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and has worked in both CPA firms and corporate accounting environments. Ray started from zero in 2011 and built his knowledge through real-world experience, hands-on tax preparation, and business development. Today, he helps aspiring tax professionals learn the foundation, understand professional software, and build a tax business with structure and confidence.

Do I need tax experience to start?

No, this training is built for beginners. You'll learn what you need to know, how the tax prep process works, and how Real Tax Pro Academy helps you build confidence step by step.

How much time do I need?

You'll need approximately 18-22 hours to complete the course. So 5 hours per week can have the course finished in 3-4 weeks.

Is tax software included?

Yes. Real Tax Pro Academy includes access to professional tax software so you can learn inside a real system instead of trying to figure everything out alone.

How do I find clients?

Most new tax preparers start with people they already know: friends, family, coworkers, church, community, and referrals. The academy also gives you marketing tools and guidance to help you start getting clients.

What if I make a mistake?

You can always amend returns, also you can purchase errors & omissions insurance to cover errors.

Should I start now?
